Hi Austin,

This question is for Erin. We had the initial training session with Jamie Carter for the VxT. In this session we had a group of people who would review and approve the validation documentation. Since that we had some new members join. Is there a way to have this VxT training provided us through our On-Demand Training or how we can train our new approvers?
Thank you.

Hi Aniko,

That’s a great question. On Demand training doesn’t cover VxT currently, but I will speak with the validation team management to figure out how we can do a bonus VxT education session.

We do have training videos on our customer website from 2018 that cover VxT, however it is a bit older (my hair, as you saw today, is no longer red :grinning:)

I’ll reach out to you via email about what an additional VxT education session would look like.

Thanks,
Erin

@erin.wright @lexy.merkle Here’s one of the few outstanding questions from the session that I believe some others may be interested in:

“If I’m on premise, can I use VxT for my upgrade?”

Brenda Johnston System Administrator at SIM (Surgical Instrument Manufacturers)

Austin,

We used VxT for the first time when we upgraded to 11.7 (on premise). It is a fabulous, time saving tool and would highly recommend it.

Yes. VxT is supported for 11.7, 2018.3, and Classic20. Just let us know what premise version you are moving to and we will make sure your VxT reflects your premise upgrade version. VxT will assume that you are moving to Classic20 (so don’t be alarmed if you log into VxT and see that version), but we can adjust it for your company to be any of the premise versions supported by VxT. Just let your customer account representative or MasterControl validation consultant know.

So glad you had such a positive experience Brenda!

We have been using MasterControl since 2011 and the VxT tool was one of my favorite additions to the application.

Thank you!
